A trading house that decided to manufacture
M/S Bappa Enterprise began in Berhampore, Murshidabad, as an import-export and general trading business. It is a proprietorship held by Soufik Ahammed, GST-registered since 1 July 2017 and holding Importer-Exporter Code ASQPA7564B.
What changed the company was a decision to stop reselling other people's grades. Instead of buying filter media and chemicals on the open market, we built the units that make them — a brick and paving plant at Salua Baruipara, a sand and gravel processing plant at Kalyaneswari, an oxide and mineral unit at Nagpur, an activated alumina plant at Bowrampet, and a carbon and coal unit at Chitradurga.
Then we built the laboratory. Our NABL-accredited chemical and media testing facility (ISO/IEC 17025:2017, certificate UQ24497) tests our own production before it leaves, and takes third-party samples from water treatment plants, contractors and RO operators across the region.
Today the company supplies water treatment chemicals, filter media, natural stone and quartz, RCC paving blocks, MS pipes and Jal Jeevan Mission fitting materials, fabricated pressure vessels, air blowers, solar systems, GMP-made cleaning products, copper scrap and bauxite, and — under an ISO 22000:2018 food safety certificate — spices, raisins and Basmati rice for export.
